I used to experience brainwashing powers of television through the cartoons and even Brazilian soap operas. I used to fight with my brother over the remote control. But I certainly never tried to kill anyone just because I saw ‘Die Hard’. In my opinion, television affects our lifestyle and perhaps the way we see the world around us. But everything still depends on us. So if you are mentally ill or have already tried to kill your neighbour’s dog, think twice before watching violent film or pornography. Others, however, can watch what they want and not be afraid of consequences.
