In case anyone needs me I'll be puking in the garden.
Jason Flemyng has said that a sequel to X-Men: First Class is currently at the writing stage.

The British actor, who played villain Azazel in the blockbuster, told Digital Spy that Matthew Vaughn's Marvel superhero prequel could soon get a follow-up.

Flemyng said: "There was a benchmark that they had to hit box office-wise before they could start writing the next one, which they've started. We'll just see how the DVD goes and then fingers crossed I'll be bright red again by next summer."

Asked if he was aware of Azazel's comics back story, in which his red-skinned villain and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) become parents to Nightcrawler, Flemyng replied: "Me and Jen Lawrence have a kid, don't we? The world is a wide place and if my son turns out to be Alan Cumming then good for him, that's great. I love Alan Cumming."

Flemyng also admitted that he hopes a potential sequel will give him the opportunity to work more with Michael Fassbender, who plays villain Magento.

"I think Michael Fassbender can do anything, annoyingly, with very little sleep and not much work, which is even more annoying!" he said.

"I am so in his gang [for the sequel]. There's one shot at the end of the film [with Magneto] and I was like, 'Please let me be in the shot!' And there I was. If there is a sequel, I have to be there."
